Experienced Machinist
Custom Job Shop CNC Milling and/or Manual Lathe

Are you a skilled machinist? Join our team to operate a variety of machines for one of a kind projects. You will produce precision parts using both automated and manual equipment. Ideal candidate would have milling and lathe experience (setting up, programming at the machine, and operating), and the ability to read blueprints with written work instructions. TIG Welder Fabricator

A mechanically inclined, ambitious candidate will learn quickly and gain wildly diverse experience.  A successful welder needs the ability to read and work from blueprints while maintaining clean and safe work conditions. ASME code certification is a plus.

Certified Weld Inspector / Weld Engineer

The CWI/Weld Engineer is responsible for maintaining Meyer Tool’s international reputation for weld excellence!  Meyer Tool creates one-of-a kind and short-run components for an elite customer base including NASA, Fermilab, Argonne, and leaders in cutting-edge high-tech industries.

A successful CWI/Weld Engineer will devise and implement optimal fabrication practices, inspections, documentation, and training plans. This position is a technical subject-matter expert and must have strong hands-on welding ability.

CNC Operator


We are seeking a CNC Machinist / Operator for our high technology, non-union job shop. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small, custom shop on a variety of high precision, often challenging components. Using blueprints and written travelers, the successful CNC Machinist / Operator will possess some machining experience and a desire to learn more. Initially, you will be running pre-programmed machines and assisting with setups and fixturing. Via on-the-job-training, you will gain experience setting up and running CNC mills and/or lathes.

Mechanic / Assembly Technician

We are looking a mechanic/assembly technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and solid basic math skills. You should have a hands on ability to design and build packaging solutions with minimal oversight and possess a willingness to take on a variety of tasks including assembly, cleaning/deburring, packaging, helium leak testing, and dye penetrant testing, surface finish repair. Diverse fabrication knowledge and experience on technically complex products is needed to meet our challenging requirements.
