CUSTOM COMBINATION
PRESSURE + VACUUM CHAMBERS

Semiconductor Chambers - Coating Chambers - Process Chambers

Engineers and researchers face unique challenges when sourcing combination pressure and vacuum chambers for critical scientific and industrial applications. When off-the-shelf solutions are unavailable or cannot meet your project’s needs, Meyer Tool’s expertise in high-pressure and ultra-high vacuum (UHV) can keep your project on track.

What Are Combination Pressure Vacuum Chambers?

Combination pressure vacuum chambers are specialized enclosures engineered to withstand both internal vacuum and high-pressure environments. You can use them across a variety of demanding processes and experiments. These chambers allow you to switch between creating ultra-low pressure (vacuum) and high-pressure conditions rather than using separate systems.
Key Design Features and Customization Options
Custom pressure and vacuum chambers give you advanced control with integrated instrumentation, sensors and controls to precisely manage the internal environment. Other features include:
  • Precision materials. We select materials for outgassing, corrosion and compatibility with extreme environments. Common materials include stainless steel, high-purity aluminum, titanium, copper alloys or ceramics.
  • Chamber geometries. Choose between cylindrical, spherical, box or a fully custom shape, each designed for optimal pressure distribution and mounting.
  • Port and flange options. We offer a wide selection of CF, ISO, KF, custom ports for instrumentation, feedthroughs, viewing windows and connections.
  • Sealing and leak integrity. We engineer advanced metal gasket and elastomer sealing systems for your target vacuum and pressure requirements through helium leak testing.
  • Surface treatments. Electropolishing, passivation, UHV cleaning and bake outs ensure purity and minimize contamination.
  • Thermal and structural engineering. Custom pressure and vacuum chambers support extreme temperature cycling, cryogenic requirements or high heat loads.
  • Compliance and quality. Ensure American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII Pressure Vessel certification, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance, robust quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC), traceability and documentation for regulated industries.
  • Engineering collaboration. We provide full computer-aided design (CAD)/finite element analysis (FEA) modeling, design for manufacturability (DFM) and technical feedback.
