We have both vertical and horizontal mills.  We specialize in short run production projects that require unique fixture setups.  Our machinists can take lessons learned from prototype runs and develop robust fabrication plans for larger production runs.

​We can run parts both large and small through our machines.  The largest vessel we have milled out so far has been a 10ft diameter by 40ft long vacuum chamber.  Our machinists are uniquely skilled at troubleshooting complex fixturing and machining problems on the fly.  We have developed our problem solving skills over 50 years servicing the particle accelerator industry in which you have one shot to machine some very complex and expensive parts.

Our CNC Machining Capabilities

Precision Mating Part Fit-Up

This is a custom heater assembly for a semiconductor process chamber. The non-linear shape of the heating coil had to be perfectly matched and milled out of the mounting pad. Each heating coil was unique, requiring custom measurements and modifications to secure the tightest fit possible for optimal heat transfer.

Post Weld Machining

Post-weld machining is a big part of what we do here at Meyer Tool. Machining welded assemblies poses its own unique challenges. Areas around the weld are harder than the base material. Parts become distorted and it becomes trickier to locate datums. We are experts at developing solutions to post weld machining problems.

Precision Seal Surface Machining

This is an o-ring groove machined into the flange of an ASME code pressure vessel. We are very familiar with other seal designs including dovetail o-rings, knife edges, and indium grooves to name a few.
