Creative Account Executive/Sales Representative to prospect, identify, and attract new business!

Then come help Meyer Tool & Manufacturing grow our business!  Our cutting-edge customers change the world as they bring new ideas to life.  As our full-time Account Executive/Sales Rep, you’ll learn how our Reduce Project Risk process supports the R&D and the prototype to production communities build their new products right the first time through. You’ll be the first touch with customers, and partnering with our engineering team, identify their real needs, leaving them pleased with the quality of their finished project and thankful for the customer support received along the way.  Promote the advantages of our custom manufacturing services with a history of fabrication excellence to new and existing customers who will benefit from Meyer Tool’s ability to Build the Impossible in cryogenic, pressure and vacuum technologies. After all, we’ve been successful at this for more than 50 years!

Job Description:
  • As our Account Executive/Sales Leader, you will spearhead business development, marketing and sales efforts with an emphasis on acquiring new, repeat business.  
  • We’re selling a service, not a product. Identify new customers who will benefit from company services. Develop qualified leads for repeat customers in new and aligned markets.  
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with customers. Pitch how our incredible services will help them reach their project goals.
  • Improve Customer experience. Build strong, long-lasting relationships because they like doing business with us.   
  • Partner with Meyer Tool engineering team to understand customer needs and offer them best solutions.  
  • Close the deal! Follow up on quotes and jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Share how great we are on social media.
  • Own, Hit and Exceed annual sales targets. Report on customer activity & business development. Track activities in our CRM System.
  • Maintain and report on KPIs and social media ROI.​

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or relevant Engineering degree such as BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Physics with sales experience.
  • 2-3 Years work experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, manufacturing processes and techniques (forming, machining, welding, assembly/test, inspection) used in the manufacture of fabricated metal parts is beneficial.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and sense of urgency.
