On Thursday, January 26, 2012, Meyer Tool & Mfg., Inc. was featured on "Nightly Business Report" (NBR), a PBS national news program. We at Meyer Tool are excited to contribute to a story supporting manufacturing in America. NBR sheds light on the latest plight of manufacturing: that while manufacturing — a high-tech, viable, and quality career path and critical to our nation's success — is alive and well in America, there is not enough supply of skilled workers to fill our positions so we can grow. Americans need to understand that a career in manufacturing is not a dirty word. No longer are we the filthy, mundane shops of the past. That manufacturing is garnering national attention is a great step toward turning this antiquated notion around!
