Meyer Tool Attends the 2012 International Particle Accelerator Conference

The 2012 International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC'12) was held at the Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, USA, from May 20 - 25, 2012. The conference center is in the heart of downtown New Orleans within walking distance of the famous French Quarter and Bourbon Street. This was the third conference in the new IPAC series, resulting from the combining of the previous regional accelerator conferences held in North America, Europe and Asia. The conference was the first IPAC held in the United States.
At IPAC'12 Accelerator Scientists, Engineers, Students and Industrial Exhibitors met and interacted in a relaxed atmosphere, which encourages the exchange of information and ideas across the broad spectrum of accelerator science and technology. This was the first IPAC attended by Meyer Tool. We saw many of the same friends and colleagues we see at the Particle Accelerator Conference held every two years in North America. The conference allowed us to catch up on the latest news, see (and try to understand) some fascinating talks and posters, and eat some really good New Orleans’ cooking.
