Meyer Tool & Mfg., Inc. proudly supports the Bohne Foundation, a local charity invested in global initiatives who make a difference in the world around us. The Bohne Foundation is dedicated to comforting the destitute, encouraging the hopeless and aiding the neediest members of our global community. Meyer Tool believes in the Bohne Foundation objectives. We are happy to take an active role by both sponsoring and volunteering for their annual fundraising golf outing.

The Bohne Foundation hosted their 9th annual golf outing on Friday September 17th, 2021 at Oak Brook Golf Club. It’s a “fun” raiser as well, bringing together like-minded people to enjoy the day’s festivities.  Meyer Tool joined in the fun by sponsoring the putting contest and Meyer Tool president, Eileen Cunningham, volunteered her time for the day. In the end, this year’s tournament raised $100,000 to support various non-profits including SOS Children’s Village, Africa’s Children’s Home, New Foundation of Hope, Muscular Dystrophy, Youth Camps, Peacemakers Village, Crisis Center of South Suburbia, American Heart Association, the Marcus Nettles Project, Folds of Honor, American Foundation of Suicide Prevention and other nonprofit organizations who need assistance throughout the year.

Based out of Bridgeview, IL , the Bohne Foundation is a global nonprofit charity organization dedicated to making a positive difference. Over the course of the Bohne Foundation’s existence, the foundation has donated over $200,000 in medical research and over $400,000 in local and global ministries, over $300,000 to Chicago’s underprivileged communities and anti-violence campaigns, and over $300,0000 in scholarships. Locally, the Bohne Foundation is actively engaged in several community development campaigns. They support anti-gun-violence initiatives in Chicago, send troubled youth to camps in Wisconsin and support an orphanage in Lockport.
