In this video, you can see a titanium vacuum chamber go through all machining operations. From 12" round bar to a completed chamber with a tolerance inspection. Typically at Meyer Tool chambers will go through all four departments; engineering, welding, machining, and assembly, but thanks to our partnership with Hurco Companies Inc., we were able to use our 5-axis mill and avoid welding completely. You many notice throughout the video the chamber appears to have grooved faces, however this is actually a machining optical illusion.
