Meyer Tool & MFG. Attends Global Quantum Forum and Visits IQMP
Meyer Tool & MFG. was proud to attend the 2026 Global Quantum Forum in Chicago, hosted by P33 and the Illinois Economic Development Corporation. The event brought together leaders from industry, government, academia, and technology to discuss the opportunities and challenges surrounding the rapidly growing quantum ecosystem.
During the event, our team had the opportunity to hear from Governor JB Pritzker and other leaders helping position Illinois as a global hub for quantum innovation. The conversations reinforced the importance of building a strong local supply chain capable of supporting the highly complex technologies required by the quantum industry.
Meyer Tool also had the privilege of visiting the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) on Chicago’s South Side. While construction is still underway, the scale and potential of the project are already impressive. IQMP is being developed as a major hub for quantum computing and microelectronics, with companies such as PsiQuantum and other technology leaders helping anchor the growing ecosystem.
With more than 55 years of experience supporting the particle accelerator industry, Meyer Tool brings extensive expertise in cryogenic, vacuum, pressure, precision machining, welding, assembly, and testing technologies. As Illinois’ quantum ecosystem continues to grow, we are excited to contribute our manufacturing capabilities and experience to this next generation of advanced technology.
