Meyer Tool Competes in Maker's Madness
This March, Meyer Tool submitted our titanium vacuum chamber, used in one of the largest quantum computers, to the Illinois Manufacturer Association (IMA) Maker’s Madness: Coolest Thing Made In Illinois contest. Maker’s Madness is a March Madness style tournament that recognizes unique manufacturers in the state of Illinois. Out of 250 nominated businesses, we had the honor of finishing in the Sweet 16. As such, we were invited to attend the finalist luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion in Springfield, Illinois., where Gov. Pritzker spoke on the impact of manufacturing in Ilinois.
We would like to thank IMA, Maker’s Madness, and Governor Pritzker for this amazing opportunity to showcase one of the amazing components we fabricate here at Meyer Tool. We look forward to competing next year and hopefully bringing home the title of “Coolest Thing Made in Illinois!”
