Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
“For with God nothing is impossible.” Many of you will recognize this beloved verse from Luke 1:37. And for those who knew our founder and my dad, Frank Meyer, you’ll know it captures his life perfectly.
From the day he opened our doors in 1969, Dad dreamed of Building the Impossible. He treated customers like friends, employees like family, and vendors like trusted partners in a shared mission. Together with God’s strength, the grace of the Holy Spirit, and a whole lot of grit and determination, he built a company committed to advancing scientific discovery and powering next-generation technologies. Thankfully, and with such deep gratitude to all of you, we've been blessed to continue beating the odds and building the impossible ever since.
As life goes, there are less people around who are lucky enough to have experienced my dad firsthand. One of my greatest joys is having shared part his journey with him. I'm grateful for all our Generation 2's who worked with us and continue to carry the torch, keeping his dream alive since he left us in 2006.
Today, Generation 3 has joined the legacy, including four grandchildren who know him simply as “Grandpa” and three machinists who have learned about him through their own family stories, passed down by their father and grandfather, our longtime expert Ken Urban. Ken has been with us since the 1980s and helped lead our machine shop through the industrial transformation from manual machining to CNC. The rest of our team knows my dad by living our shared core values, values that unite us with customers, employees and vendors past and present who have all played a part in making the impossible a reality.
Today, Meyer Tool is honored to play a role in the latest technological transformation: the quantum computing breakthroughs reshaping our world. I imagine Dad in heaven cheering us on as we continue living his passion: helping our customers create solutions that matter.
As we head into a new year, many of us will reflect on our own goals and the dreams we feel called to pursue. This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, I hope you’ll take comfort in the angel’s promise to Mary: “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Whatever mountains you face and whatever dreams you hold, know that the God of the impossible walks with you. Know that hope, courage, and renewal are always within reach.
From all of us at Meyer Tool, thank you for your partnership and trust. We wish you a joyful, peaceful Christmas and the faith to believe that your own “impossible” just might become reality in 2026 and beyond!
