Meyer Tool & Mfg., Inc. Named Finalist for IMA’s Champion of Operational Excellence
Oak Lawn, IL – May 15, 2025 — Meyer Tool & Mfg., Inc. is proud to announce that it has been named one of three finalists for the Champion of Operational Excellence Award as part of the 2nd Annual Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Awards, presented by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC).
This prestigious recognition honors manufacturers across Illinois that demonstrate exceptional performance, continuous improvement, and innovation in their operations. Meyer Tool is being recognized alongside fellow finalists G&W Electric and ZF Group.
Meyer Tool earned its nomination through a series of strategic improvements in lean manufacturing, quality system, capital investments including the addition of robot technology, and employee-driven innovation. Recent initiatives include enhanced production workflows, real-time performance metrics, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts—each aimed at increasing efficiency, product quality, and customer responsiveness.
