Meyer Tool Supports Camp Kesem 2025
On June 6th, 2025 Meyer Tool was one of many Sponsors for the 11th annual “I Can’t Believe I’m In A Golf Outing” Golf Outing, in honor of Brian Finke, a dear friend, who succumbed to cancer in 2011. Hosted by Brian’s wife, Cathy, and their triplets, Cory, Becca and Brittney, the “I Can’t Believe I’m In A Golf Outing” Golf Outing is not only a way to memorialize Brian but a fundraiser for Camp Kesem.
Camp Kesem is a national nonprofit organization that provides free, week-long summer camps and year-round support for children ages 6 to 18 who have been impacted by a parent’s cancer. Operated by college student volunteers at over 130 chapters at colleges across the United States, Camp Kesem offers a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can connect with others who understand what they’re going through. The experience is designed to build confidence, foster lasting friendships, and create joyful memories—all at no cost to families.
Beyond summer camp, Camp Kesem offers continued care throughout the year, including check-ins, care packages, and community events that help children feel supported even after camp ends. At its core, Camp Kesem is about more than just camp—it’s about building a lasting, compassionate community that empowers children to navigate the challenges of a parent’s cancer with strength and resilience. |
This year the “I Can’t Believe I’m In A Golf Outing” Golf Outing, raised a total of $15,112 for the University of Illinois Camp Kesem Chapter. Thanks to all of the generous donations from this outing in previous years, Camp Kesem was able to continue through Covid.
