Meyer Tool's Mission Our Founder Frank Meyer began his career as a machinist at Argonne National Lab with hopes of changing the world. In 1969, he began working out of his garage with just a lathe, mill, and the belief that “if you can machine one thing, you can machine anything.” Meyer Tool & Manufacturing was founded on this idea and the passion to change the world which quickly led Frank to the particle accelerator industry. Today, MTM is a key supplier of cryogenic, vacuum, and pressure components for the Particle Accelerator Industry and the National Labs. With the rise of Chicago’s Quantum Exchange, we are excited to see Frank’s vision continue, with hopes of becoming a key supplier in the new quantum computing boom. |
