Meyer Tool's 55th Anniversary: Here's to 55 Years!

In 1969, Frank Meyer began his entrepreneurial pursuits working as a machinist out of his garage with one goal: to change the world. With the help and support of family and friends, he quickly became a preferred supplier for national labs and the particle accelerator industry, providing complex, precision machined components. 55 years later, Meyer Tool & Mfg. have become a national leader of cryogenic, vacuum, and pressure related components, and on September 6th and 7th, we spent the weekend honoring Frank’s legacy.
We split our celebration into two days. On Friday, we hosted an open house for customers and suppliers, our external partners key to Meyer Tool’s longevity and success. On Saturday, we hosted our employee’s friends and families to share what we do with the people we do it for. We were honored to also host many past employees who came back, eager to visit and celebrate with us. |

Mr. Freeze Show hosted by Frank's Grandson: Eric Cunningham

Our Celebration began with a shop tour led by Frank Meyer's grandson, Christian Cunningham, for family and friends. Family member's got a chance to see each department and a few cool products and tools used every day! Being family owned, we wanted an opportunity for each employee to show off their work station and teach their loved ones about how they change the world each and every day.
Following the tour, Eric Cunningham, another of Frank’s grandsons and our Weld Shop Supervisor and CWI, presented hosted the Mr. Freeze Show! The Mr. Freeze Show is an interesting an fun way to teach friends and family about cryogenics and the use of liquid nitrogen in our applications. At the end of show everyone got a chance to freeze and smash fruits of their choice. As with all Meyer Events, the day was completed with delicious taco and ice cream food trucks! |
