What is the real cost of a piece of equipment?  This is the difficult question that both buyer and end user must determine.  Many simply calculate the cost of equipment based solely on the original purchase price.  Comparing pricing and selecting the lowest initial cost supplier works well for commodity or simple items.  However, Meyer Tool believes that buyers and users of complex equipment, often one-of-a-kind, need to be more sophisticated in their judgement, and look beyond the initial cost in order to determine "Total Cost of Ownership".  By this, we mean the offer that provides the best overall value to the customer.
