Thermal Shrouds

Fabrication of leak tight, properly heat stationed thermal shrouds is a
key skill for a manufacturer of cryogenic equipment.
At Meyer Tool & Manufacturing, Inc., we have been building thermal
shrouds since the early 1970s and some of our employees have more than 20
years of experience in thermal shroud design and fabrication. Copper and
aluminum thermal shrouds fabricated by Meyer Tool are in use in Fermilab's
Tevatron cryogenic system, and CEBAF crymodules also use thermal shroud
assemblies fabricated by Meyer Tool.

Meyer has also manufactured infrared astrophysics dewars for the
investigation of the fundamental nature of the universe using our passive
aluminum shields, as well as produced helium liquifier cold boxes containing
liquid nitrogen cooled copper shields.
These are just a few examples of the range of thermal
shrouds and their applications.
